Oh Pa Asangong  you have been a loving, caring and adorable father.So God-fearing, gentle, kind and trust worthy.A man of few words.You sacrificied all for your children and today they are proud of you.How wonderful you have been in your entire family,friends and the church.Your righteousness is a testimony of your prosperity and good success.You journeyed the earth and God has called you because you have accomplished your mission.We give glory to God because you are now at a resting place and we hope to meet again to depart no more.
We will miss you now but not forever.

    My loving and sweet dad, I don't know where to start. When I met you, you treated me like my biological father. You showed me love, care and always advised me like a father will do to his child. Papa, I remember when I was sick with malaria, you brought blanket from your house and covered me. Everyday you will pass by to check on me. You made sure I ate something even though I couldn't cook. Even when I was hospitalized here in America, you came and saw me in the hospital. You were always there for me Papa.I won't be where I am today, if it wasn't for you papa. You said when I travel abroad and decide to come home for a visit I should come to the house and spend sometime with you. Papa, my heart is burdened at the thought I won't be able to spend quality time with you as I used to. I never saw love after my biological father passed away but papa you showed me love like my biological father would. Who is going to call me macherie or sweet baby again? Oh papa, I will miss your smile, your advise, your stories, your love and your care. I love you papa but God loves you more. The children and I say adios papa, till we meet again.

Been there on your passing came to me like lighting, i could not believe you had left us. Sometimes i still think you are around sitting and resting before i realise you are know more. Papa you where morethan a role model to us all and you have built a very solid foundation which has kept our family bond very strong and we are still building the love on that same foundation so as our coming generations. You where always there not only to your children and grand children but also for everyone you could be there for and it is for the reason everyone called you PAPA because you where indeed a father. Spending time with you every holidays was a holiday well spent because any holiday spent without papa did not seem like a holiday well spent especially  with our main activity which was clearing and keeping the compound always clean not forgetting how to drive. You always made sure you brought me back to the right path each time you saw me taking the wrong turn not to me alone but to everyone beside you and who had the opportunity to call you  PAPA.  We are going to miss you dearly and will keep building on the solid foundation you layed for us all. 
  I pray the Lord God almighty grant you eternal rest in his heavenly kingsom as you keep watch over us

My grandpa always did things with great love. You are an affectionate father who is an inspiration to the whole family. Our family is blessed to have someone who brings joy and happiness to everyone they come across. The love spread upon us is irreplaceable. You helped me play piano and learn how to count. Every moment with you has been cherished. Now that you're gone, you leave an unforgettable legacy.

The news of your passing was nothing short of traumatic and was a devastating blow to me.                  You were more than just a grandfather to me. You became my dad, caring and providing for me before and after I lost my father at a very young age. You were my coach guiding me through life, watching my steps and making sure I walked on the right path of life. I took my first steps in front of you, you taught me how to count, how to be kind, how to be clean, how to be well dressed, how to be kind, how to play drive, how to play the piano, how to walk in the way of Christ, and the list can go on and on and on.                                                                                                 You were truly a role model to me and the good habits you instilled in me are what I think of everyday as I grow and that has made me a better man today. Words can’t describe my love for you and how much I’ll miss you.                                                                                                             You worked hard, went through tough times, you were a good and fair man, and although you didn’t get what you deserved all the time, you lived a good life. You were the best I ever had and the best I could ever ask for. I pray you rest peacefully in the blossom of the Lord and continue to watch over us forever.
